I ordered these wellies as although I'm relatively slim, I have unfortunately large calves :-( I originally ordered the Hunter Original Adjustable wellies but I didn't like the way the gusset part made the wellies stick out-in my opinion making my legs look even bigger! I'm so glad I ordered these instead as I love them. They're slightly shorter than the original Hunter boot and the ankles are wider but I personally think they're lovely. Maximum calf size would be 16.5 inches.
