The optics are just superb. The central focus ring and locking diopter adjustment ring (same as Ultravids) make it easy to adjust and lock any differences between your pupils, leaving a wonderful clear view. Why this system has been removed from the new Trinovod HD models is a mystery to me. Fabulous colour fidelity, great light transmission and beautiful edge to edge focus across the field, not just in the centre of the glass. Absolutely pin sharp. Really quite special binoculars.

Thought I'd invest in some glass for life...the 8x42 Trinovids are one of the best stalking accessories I've ever purchased...solidly built and with total, utter jaw dropping clarity, a must for every serious stalker !
