I have the new Shimano Aero Technium a Shimano Power Aero and two Shimano XSD C14s. I am a SHIMANO man and I exclusively used fixed spools for my shore fishing. I bought one of these TRONIX VIRTUOSO XT reels for my son with ultra light spool and 60lb whiplast no jokes apart from line lay it is absolutely fantastic in comparison to the top end fixed spools at more that 5 times the price. This is literally the best your gonna get if want SHIMANO but dont want to pay the ridiculous price they charge. I strapped this reel to I custom zippy I have and put 170g of OTG 180 yards :) its good !!!
