Only used it a couple of times but so far I can see the improvements over the Gen 2 version. Time will tell if the legs continue to deploy as theyre supposed to. The Gen 2 legs started sticking after a year. I hope these last longer.

I bought this because the Gen 2 had a lot of negative feedback. It's expensive but the Gen 3 seems very well built. Note that the sliding legs are not silent. I had to wipe them down with an oily rag to dampen down the sound - not super loud but rabbits could hear within 30 yards on a still night. Overall I do like it.
